PBA is pleased to introduce our new Executive Director!
Katie Meyer comes to PBA from the Belmont Area Business Association, where she is the Past President, coordinator of the Belmont Street Fair and former owner of Hall of Records, vinyl shop & bar. She continued on with the business association even after the closing of her business because of the enjoyment of working with other business owners. During her time at BABA she managed many projects including a Walking Map, Website Overhaul and the creation of a Marketing and Communications position.
She started Block Party Barricades, LLC in the Summer of 2013 to supply traffic control signs to outdoor events, including Street Fairs. Her love of the work with Business Associations led her to pursue working with others, including the Parkrose Business Association. She started Triple Bottom Management LLC to manage both Business Associations and events. The company’s mission is to focus on the social, environmental and financial impact of a group; the triple bottom line.
On the personal side, she has a husband, Justin, and a 17-month-old son, Jones. She spends her free time teaching Springboard Diving at the Matt Dishman Community Center. She is excited to get to know and work with every business in the Parkrose Area. She looks forward to increasing the presence of the Business Association, both online, on the street and in person.
Come to the March 20th PBA Luncheon where you will have a chance to meet Katie Meyer.
